The Concert Band is comprised of nearly 50 musicians and is the largest performing ensemble within the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West.

It has performed for thousands of listeners in live concert appearances and for millions worldwide via its numerous recordings and television and radio broadcasts. Throughout its history, the Concert Band has collaborated with some of America's leading band conductors, receiving enthusiastic critical acclaim as one of premier musical organizations of its kind.

Touring the western states of California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona, the Concert Band performs a wide variety of music. This includes standard concert band/wind ensemble literature, orchestral transcriptions, military marches, jazz and pop arrangements, Broadway standards, and of course, patriotic music. Its wide and varied programs offer something for everyone and is an excellent choice for family entertainment.

The Golden West Winds is part of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, California. Comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon, this ensemble supports a wide variety of musical events ranging from military ceremonies and patriotic shows to educational programs and recitals of original works for woodwind quintet. THE COMMANDERS
The Commanders, a newly-revived ensemble coming from the US Air Force Band of the Golden West, carries on the American musical tradition of the great big bands, yet offers a lot more than the big band sounds. This energetic group of highly-trained professional musicians, formed from 18 Airmen, delivers the full gamut of jazz music - traditional jazz, cool, bop, swing, Broadway favorites, and patriotic music. THE BLUE YONDERS

As one of the newer performing groups of the USAF Band of the Golden West, The Blue Yonders offer a unique and energetic folk rock performance of Irish and bluegrass influence. The seven-member ensemble features a variety of instruments: Irish flute, penny whistle, accordion, bodhran, djembe, mandolin, guitar, bass guitar, French horn, trumpet, and of course, plenty of vocals. In addition to time-honored standards, The Blue Yonders put an Irish-bluegrass spin on American classic and modern rock tunes. This eclectic and imaginative group of professional Airmen musicians is certain to have you grinnin' and toe-tappin'.

WILD WEST WINDS

The Wild West Winds is part of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, California. Composed of four clarinetists, the group performs throughout the West Coast by supporting a variety of musical events such as military ceremonies, patriotic shows, educational master classes, recital concerts, and library performances. Due to the versatility of the ensemble, the Wild West Winds showcases a wide-range of musical styles, such as marches, patriotic, popular, jazz, and classical music.
